Catalin Trifan is an artist based in Amsterdam, whose intuitive and expressionist practice spans painting, photography, video, and installation, shaped by a background in geology and the use of unconventional materials to explore lived experience, memory, and imagination.
Catalin is currently enrolled in the 4th year of the DOGTime Expanded Painting programme at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
